The work on the Metro Track for Ballabgarh line has almost stopped due to an obstruction at the work site in Ballabgarh because of the construction two pillars in front of Ballabhgarh metro station. People of Navalu colony have not given land yet to make the pillar. Because of this, the hope of expanding the metro to Ballabgarh by December 2017 seems like a dream now. The new expected date for the same to be completed is by March end 2018.
The work of metro expansion began at a fast pace from YMCA to Ballabgarh. The task of laying the track of the metro up to Ballbagharh station quickly went on, while the work of the Metro on the Gururgram Canal hanged due to the iron’s i-gadar on the canal. But the major obstacle is coming in form of the Pillars at the Ballabhgarh metro station number-five and six, which is made near Navalu colony ahead of Ballbahgarh station. The process is going on for a long time to resolve the land dispute.
But the dispute is still on and a meeting will be held on the 13th of July to solve out the issue.
